Butterfly Bungalow

Students that are comfortable in their mobility thru 30 months are located in a separate house on the Kid Angles campus known as the “Butterfly Bungalow”.  Though they’re not babies and not quite big kids yet, this rambunctious group explores, plays, learns and discovers new activities each week. This class is where the social networking begins. Individual idependence is encouraged and praised. But hugs and cuddling are still needed.

Here, children enjoy an emergent-play based curriculum that keys in on the interest of the children.   As the students develop and grow staff integrate more learning and exploration opportunities into their daily routine. Students are exposed to Spanish in this class.

The “Butterfly Bungalow” environment offers several indoor and outdoor play spaces. Children have nap time on cots and can snuggle with their favorite blanket or toy from home. The Butterfly Bungalow is locked during the day for safety.

Students learn how to make purple not just look at it on a flashcard.
