Children are eligible for enrollment at Kid Angles if they are between the ages of six weeks and six years of age. Prior to enrollment, you must provide a copy of a birth certificate as well as up-to-date immunizations and a Child Health Record Form completed by a physician.
We have several forms that are required for enrollment which can be found on this site, or at the Kid Angles office.
Our classrooms are broken up by age group (see below). The associated fees are current as of Fall of 2008. There is a 10% discount for families with multiple children attending Kid Angles, and the discount is applied to the older child's tuition. We also have a half-day rate (7am - Noon) which is $100/week. Part time spaces are limited and may not be available in all classrooms.
Infants (Monkeys)
Children ages 6 weeks – 16 months are located in their own house within the Kid Angles campus. The “Monkey House” as we call it, offers two play rooms, a separate quiet room for sleeping, and a kitchen where bottles and food are prepared and fed to the children. Each child has their own cubbie to store extra clothes, comfort items and other belongings. When the weather is nice, children enjoy swings and other small toys outside, and may go for walks in strollers. The Monkey House is locked during the day for safety.
Toddlers (Butterflies)
Children ages 16 months – 29 months are located in a separate house on the Kid Angles campus known as the “Butterfly Bungalow”. When they’re not babies but not quite big kids yet, this rambunctious group explores, plays, learns and discovers new activities each week. The “Butterfly Bungalow” is adjacent to the main preschool facility, and offers several indoor play spaces, a kitchen for eating meals and snacks, as well as an outside play area. Here, children enjoy a play-based experience, as the staff integrate more learning opportunities into their daily routine. Children have nap time on cots and can snuggle with their favorite blanket or toy from home. The Butterfly House is locked during the day for safety.
Pre-Three's & Threes
Children ages 30-47 months are located in the lower level of the main preschool facility. Children engage in several learning centers including dramatic play, sensory tables, art and a reading area, and have a daily schedule that provides a balance of play and learning opportunities. An outdoor play area is a great place for the children to get out to play at least twice each day (weather permitting). Children eat their lunches upstairs in the kitchen/cafeteria, and have snacks in their room. Each day, cots come out and the Hoppers & Sprouts snuggle with their favorite blanket during nap time. This room also has their own bathroom to encourage use of the potty away from home.
Three's / Four's (Crickets)
We have expanded our Three's classroom offering to add this 3/4 combo classroom. Children will be taught by a teacher with her Master’s Degree in Education and will be engaged in hands-on learning activities. Many activities are similar to the Sprouts room, and this classroom will accommodate half-day registrations. Children must be potty trained to attend this class.
Four's and Five's (Fireflies and Busy Bees)
Children ages 4-5 years are located in the upper level of the main preschool facility. This age group is combined together, but will sometimes be separated for age-appropriate activities. This group enjoys free time until 9:15 am, at which time, they start their schedule of learning centers including dramatic play, science, math, manipulative activities, reading, building, art, writing and other discovery experiences. Outdoor play is offered at least twice a day with weather permitting, and field trips may be offered at this age. Children are offered a rest time on cots.
Alumni Kids (Explorers)
Families who have enjoyed their Kid Angles experience prior to sending their children to school have the opportunity to have their kids return during the summer or during break days. This is also open to older siblings of current Kid Angles participants, and serves children age 6+. Explorers enjoy movies, field trips to Bryan Park Pool or other nearby parks, games and outdoor fun. Space is limited for this group, and advanced reservations are suggested.
